A Tribute to Tim Bobo and Our New Chapter

A thoughtful note from the Left Brain Media team:

It is with great sadness we announce that Left Brain Media founder and owner Tim Bobo passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, after a hard (and often silent) battle with cancer. For 23 years, Tim and his team brought resounding success and provided technical diligence to his clients and colleagues in the digital and E-learning landscape. Those of us left behind would like to offer our profound gratitude to Tim for bringing together such talented, diverse and conscientious teams of people. It is with further sadness we announce that upon Tim’s passing, Left Brain Media ceased to exist, as it was his request. His creation and dream were fulfilled.

It was Tim’s dying wish that the relationships he fostered among his team and his clients continue on. To honor him and show our loyalty to each other and our clients, our team has begun a new chapter with an established full-service digital agency where we will remain committed to providing quality and continuity of services.

A note from Jas and Erica Rai, Branch founders:

We were incredibly saddened to hear of the illness and recent death of Tim Bobo. Tim was both of our lifelines, back in the tech crash of 2001, offering us work opportunities in digital media and ultimately providing us financial security during some more challenging times in our careers, that continued for the better part of 10 to 15 years. We learned a great deal from Tim, as he had a technical mind and loved to solve client business challenges. He may have also been the first to create a successful time tracking tool back in the day! While we are sad to lose Tim and see Left Brain Media shut its doors, we are happy to reunite with the LBM team and continue to do great work with old friends and colleagues, and build on Tim’s wonderful legacy in this field.
