Corporate Merger Brings New Styles
Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care merged in January 2021 and are now one brand, called Point32Health. While the merger created an umbrella brand, the Tufts Health Plan brand is still in market. The new brand brought changes to the visual identity of Tufts Health Plan. Part of that change included color and illustration style updates, seen here in this custom designed and illustrated infographic.
Project Summary
In response to the often complex and overwhelming process of selecting a Primary Care Provider (PCP), Tufts Health Plan entrusted Branch with the creation of a comprehensive infographic. Spanning an extended visual narrative, this infographic serves as an invaluable guide, systematically leading the audience through five crucial steps toward identifying the ideal PCP.
The meticulously crafted step-by-step infographic empowers users with insights into key considerations when seeking a PCP, including convenient location, flexible business hours, a supportive staff, and diverse communication channels encompassing phone, email, texting, and access to an online portal. It also provides essential guidance on leveraging Tufts Health Plan’s online search tool to identify suitable healthcare providers, along with pertinent questions to ask when evaluating potential PCPs.
Custom-designed with precision, the infographic boasts unique illustrations aligning seamlessly with the Tufts Health Plan brand positioning. At its core is the main character, Abby, who navigates various scenarios – from her PCP’s office to family outings, online research, and daily activities. Abby’s journey encapsulates the everyday consumer’s experience, demystifying the intricacies of the health insurance industry.
Tufts Health Plan strategically offers this infographic as an easily digestible and comprehensible resource, aiming to simplify the often-daunting process of engaging with a PCP. By presenting a visually engaging narrative coupled with actionable insights, this project underscores Tufts Health Plan’s commitment to empowering individuals in making informed decisions about their healthcare journey.
Leveraging the custom brand illustrations for social media
From the development of the infographic, it made the most sense to leverage all the custom illustrations for social media marketing. Using various messaging in combination with the illustrations, the social graphics carry over a cohesive brand and message for the audience.
