Community ServingsBrand Videos
A mission-driven brand video and testimonial series told through the real experiences of clients and healthcare partners.

Project Overview
Community Servings, a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious, medically tailored meals to individuals and families facing critical or chronic illnesses, partnered with Branch Boston to elevate its storytelling through a series of compelling videos. Our team produced four testimonial videos—featuring both clients and healthcare providers—and one brand overview video that highlighted the organization’s mission, impact, and community-driven work. All scripts were provided by Community Servings, and Branch Boston was responsible for creative direction, production, and all post-production efforts.
The Challenge
Community Servings needed powerful, emotionally resonant video content that could communicate the depth of their impact, support donor engagement, and strengthen fundraising initiatives. The challenge was to authentically capture real stories from clients, providers, volunteers, and leadership while visually representing the day-to-day operations and meaningful connections that define the organization. The videos had to balance heartfelt narrative with a polished, professional production style—ensuring the content felt both genuine and strategically aligned with Development and Marketing efforts.
Our Approach
Branch Boston assembled a trusted and experienced film crew of four—including videographers, sound specialists, and an illustrator—to create a cohesive, visual storytelling experience enhanced by custom illustrations. Over the course of three intensive shoot days, we captured footage across Community Servings’ Boston headquarters and their Mansfield, MA facility.
Our team documented the entire ecosystem of the organization: meal planning, meal preparation, packaging, food sourcing, volunteer work, kitchen activity, behind-the-scenes operations, transportation and delivery routes. We conducted two client testimonials, two healthcare provider testimonials, and filmed interviews with key leadership, including the CEO. To bring the delivery experience to life, we staged and filmed real meal deliveries with Community Servings’ drivers, both inside and outside the vans, showcasing true client interactions and the reach of the organization’s services.
In post-production, Branch’s video producer and motion design artist, Luis Macias, handled all editing, sound enhancement, and animation—working closely with Creative Director, Erica Rai, who storyboarded each video and curated the final narrative through selective clip sequencing and visual cohesion.
Outcome
The final deliverables included five high-quality videos that authentically captured the mission, values, and life-changing work of Community Servings. Each piece offered a unique perspective—from clients, providers, leadership, and operations—creating a versatile suite of content that now supports fundraising, outreach, and awareness campaigns. The videos strengthened Community Servings’ ability to connect emotionally with donors and stakeholders, expanded their storytelling capabilities, and provided a dynamic toolset for ongoing marketing and development efforts.
